This is a photo-log of my wife Christine's battle with stage 3 invasive ductal carcinoma. -
Chemo-hair
a short haircut as Christine begins her first round of chemotherapy in anticipation of losing her hair. -
trying to maintain normalcy
It's hard to be normal as you wait for the very long road ahead to take it's toll. The chemo treatments have made her feel terrible and have reduced her appetite. Christine takes a moment to steel herself as she ponders the uncertainty of the future. -

This girl has depth ... she draws on her own strength and somehow manages to find joy on a daily basis -

at the 1 year mark of her cancer journey, we gathered 26 of Christine's close friends for a weekend away so that she would feel and see the love and support that was all around her. We also wanted to celebrate her incredible strength and attitude! -
